ECOLOGICAL EDUCATION

Ecological Education consists of rethinking and redesigning curricular and institutional reform in the spirit of integral ecology to promote ecological awareness and carry out transformative actions. Actions could include ensuring equitable access to education for all and promoting human rights, promoting Laudato Si' themes within the community, encouraging ecological leadership (students, teachers) and ecological restoration activities .

ECOLOGICAL SPIRITUALITY

Ecological Spirituality arises from a profound ecological conversion and helps us "discover God in all things", both in the beauty of creation and in the sighs of the sick and the groans of the afflicted, aware that The life of the spirit is not dissociated from worldly realities. Actions could include the promotion of liturgical celebrations based on creation, the development of ecological catechesis, retreats and formation programs, etc.

ONE MILLION TREES

Our project

One million trees to care for the common home has the objective of raising awareness in the community and society in caring, through coordinated actions, in coordination with the public and private sectors, groups, associations, movements and civil society.

The tangible result of this project will be the reforestation of nearly 1,000 hectares of land with native and endemic trees in different parts of the country.

Hope Memorial Forest

A memorial forest restores biodiversity, mitigates the climate emergency, but also accompanies mourning. It's not about choosing between addressing climate change or human health. Taking care of ourselves is also taking care of the planet.

The trees of Bosque Memorial 2022 are distributed in two natural areas that lost their forest due to fires. A plantation for every person killed due to violence

In addition to accompanying family mourning, memorial forests recover natural spaces as a legacy for future generations.
